I have written out and posted the free pattern for this cowl below on this page. First of all, I cannot get over the colour! Its the perfect shade of red that I was looking for… it reminds me of a glass of wine! And once knit up, the scarf feels like luxury against your skin! It is so incredibly soft and cozy, you will not want to take it off. I used Knit Picks Mighty Stitch Bulky Yarn in Pomegranate to make this cowl. Purllinknitting has a great basic Cable Tutorial. Once you watch a couple of You Tube video tutorials you’ll be ready to take your knitting to a whole new level. If you are new to cables, don’t be intimidated.
They add so much style to outdoor accessories, yet are very easy to create! This cowl is knit up with a simple six stitch cable pattern. I am in love with cable stitches right now.
