I have written out and posted the free pattern for this cowl below on this page. First of all, I cannot get over the colour! Its the perfect shade of red that I was looking for… it reminds me of a glass of wine! And once knit up, the scarf feels like luxury against your skin! It is so incredibly soft and cozy, you will not want to take it off. I used Knit Picks Mighty Stitch Bulky Yarn in Pomegranate to make this cowl. Purllinknitting has a great basic Cable Tutorial. Once you watch a couple of You Tube video tutorials you’ll be ready to take your knitting to a whole new level. If you are new to cables, don’t be intimidated.
